About Us

Troop 498 is a group of scouts and leaders who emphasizes the core elements of boy scouting which are to be:  Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.  

This troop also strongly believes in putting "adventure" in Scouting.  Another important aspect of this troop is to do all it can to help each boy scout reach his goal of making it to EAGLE!
